GES Launches Probe into Alleged Teacher–Student Sexual Misconduct.

The Ghana Education Service is set to investigate a viral video allegedly involving a teacher and a student of Bole Senior High School in the Savanna Region.

In a statement released by the Head of Public Relations at GES, Daniel Afenyi stated that management has initiated an investigation into the matter and directed the interdiction of the teacher in accordance with GES rules and regulations pending the outcome of the investigation.

“Management strongly condemn all forms of amorous relationship between teachers and students”, the statement added.

The institution remains resolute in its zero-tolerance position on sexual misconduct and calls on all staff to uphold exemplary professional ethics and conduct at all times.

However, Mr. Fenyi categorically stated the Service’s commitment to ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of all students within the educational system.

The statement further indicated that appropriate dispensary and legal action will be taken any individual found culpable.

An alleged sex video involving a teacher and a female student of Bole Senior High School surfaced on social media yesterday.

The alleged sexual misconduct is believed to have been recorded in the school’s science laboratory.
