CLOGSAG calls members to resume work

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association has discontinued its nationwide strike directing its members to resume work, as executives continue engagement with government to resolve their condition of service.

In a statement released on March 17, the union said that the decision to suspend the strike follows a request from government to call off the strike to allow further engagement on the salary structure and condition of service of its members.

However, upon review of the request, the National Executive Committee had to agree to suspend the strike action for two weeks to have more stakeholder engagements, it added.

The Executive Secretary, Isaac Bampoe Addo, directed all its members nationwide to return to work by Tuesday march 24, 2026.

CLOGSAG further added that failure to reach an agreement may result in reinstatement of the strike.
