The Ministry of Interior has announced that no SMS information regarding the medical screening have been delivered to any applicants.
In a statement released on Sunday March 22,2026, it said that applicants should expect SMS about their medical screening between March 29 and March 31, 2026.
According to the statement, medical screening is set to start on Tuesday April 7, 2026 and further caution applicants not to be deceived by any fake SMS messages asking for payment for medical screening.
The Ministry indicated that all SMS messages will be sent from the sole authorized SMS sender with ID CSERP, adding that all qualified applicants should note that there have been changes on their application portal from Qualified to “Medical Screening” once SMSs are sent.
“All applicants are therefore entreated to double check all SMS received in relation to the medical screening process and ensure they see the change in status before proceeding to make payments via the secure web checkout system on their portal”, the statement added.
Its further advice all qualified applicants not to directly send money to any mobile money, urging applicants to report any cases of fraud to the email provided, recruitment@mint.gov.gh.
