Vice President celebrate Eid with Muslim community, calls for unity and national cohesion

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman has urged Ghanaians to uphold unity, peace, and shared responsibility while reflecting on the values of discipline and renewal fostered during Ramadan.

In her remarks , the vice president characterized ramadan as a time marked by discipline, self-denial and moral renewal, offering a chance for deep reflection, personal growth, and a renewed dedication to responsible citizenship.

She indicated that the period helps strengthens common values and principles that foster togetherness among all persons in the country.

Her Excellency further urged citizen to uphold peace, unity and mutual responsibility in shaping a peaceful society with the hope that Eid’s blessings would bring joy, serenity to families, and strengthen the bonds of the nation.
