The Public Relations Officer for Shatta Movement Sammy Flex has said that his boss, Shatta Wale is a business minded person that, in his line of work, he commands respect.
According to Sammy Flex, some people may not like Shatta Wale, but when it comes to his business, you can’t help but respect him.
His comment comes after Bhim Nation President, Stonebwoy at the World Cup fundraising launch rekindled the debate between His camp and Shatta Movement, adding that their healthy rivalry is what brings joy to the nation.
Responding to Stonebwoy is a viral video on Facebook, Sammy Flex said that everybody knew the purpose of the event for which such platform cannot be used to ignite that debate.
He indicated that, Shatta Wale and other artists invited to the occasion were not to donate, rather to encourage people to participate in the raffle but Shatta knowing the business atmosphere at the event, he donated $100,000.
“Shatta gave us a shock and on that note, I knew pressure in going to be thrown elsewhere, especially on Stonebwoy, knowing that he was going to speak right after Shatta Wale and when Stonebwoy he came, he did not see the business of what was happening”, he stated.
Government through the Ministry of Sports and Recreation in collaboration with the Ghana Football Association introduced a fundraising campaign aimed at generating financial support for the Black Stars ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Many institutions and individual donated during the launch, having the two music stars Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy donating $100,000 and $101,000 respectively , to support the campaign.
